Christopher Hall is the owner of Cohesive IT Solutions, and for him, his entrance into working with Computers and Networks began back in the 90’s, when he was a teenager and his father brought home a copy of Novell Netware. Before long, Chris was setting up his own Novell Netware server in his bedroom at home, and shortly afterwards this was joined by a Microsoft Windows Server.
A while later, after Chris’ father secured a deal to buy a room of older computers from his workplace, together they worked at rebuilding and reselling them all. From that point on, Chris’ experience with IT has continued to grow, having worked as a Computer Systems Engineer, supporting Tier 1 Telcos, and other medium to large businesses. Coupled with his long IT experience and his love for Business, Cohesive IT Solutions was started.
Whilst we are able to support a large range of IT equipment and computers (you can read about that by clicking on “Services” link above), we place great importance on the relationship between us and our customers. We don’t simply see you as someone who needs help with your IT equipment and infrastructure, but we see you as someone we can partner together with in business. Therefore, we place great emphasis upon building honest and genuine relationships with our customers, and communicating clearly (i.e. no geek-speak) through all stages of support. That way, we can clearly understand your needs, carry out the work as requested, and then communicate back to you clearly as to what we have done. This, in turn, helps you to have confidence in our work and confidence in your Computer System.
We don’t want to be the biggest. We want to be able to build relationships with a smaller number of customers, so that we can provide them with faster, honest, and reliable support. We aim to respond to calls for support within the hour, and where possible, have a tech help you as a matter of priority.
We speak your language. Good communication is a priority for us. We want to understand what you need, and we want you to understand what work we have done and why. Not everyone understands geek-speak, so we don’t use it. We try and explain things in ways that you will understand, which in turn will give you confidence in our work.
We have experience working with residential customers all the way up to large Tier 1 Telcos. This experience has given us skills with a broad range of IT systems. Further, we are able to provide onsite support and also remote support, and do work both on an hourly basis as well as offering service contracts.
